Jones School of Law Gains National Rating, Attention

Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law has been named one of the 15 best law schools in the United States at preparing students for public service in government, according to the National Jurist.

The publication relied upon each school’s employment data, curricula and standard of living in creating the list, according to a news release.

The Montgomery school trains law students for careers in public service, preparing them both to engage critically with difficult legal and policy questions and to deal practically with the challenges of public service, according to Faulkner.

Nearly 30 percent of the graduating class of 2010 chose public service careers when they graduated.
