Gov. Bentley signs Pro Bono Proclamation
The Alabama State Bar Pro Bono Celebration Task Force is providing materials that can be used by local bar associations and other organizations to present a one hour ethics CLE program. These materials were prepared by Professor Jeffrey R. Baker, Director of Clinical Program, Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, Montgomery, Alabama.
Before using the CLE Materials Professional Responsibility for Pro Bono Practice please read and follow the instructions below.
1) Although the materials have been approved for CLE credit, in order for your organization to receive CLE credit for an event you must contact Linda L. Lund, Director Volunteer Lawyers Program, Alabama State Bar, 415 Dexter Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104, (334) 269-1515 or 1-800-354-6154, email linda.lund@alabar.org
2) All those in attendance must sign-in. A list of those in attendance must be submitted to the MCLE Department of the Alabama State Bar. The list of attendees should be legible and include the Alabama State Bar number for those in attendance. (A suggested sign-in sheet is included in the CLE materials.)
3) During the presentation each person in attendance must be given the opportunity to complete an evaluation form. (A suggested evaluation form is included in the CLE materials.)
