Lawyers are as vulnerable to personal and professional problems as anyone else. Few occupations are as stressful as the practice of law. Competition, long hours and high expectations and win loose scenarios can wear down even the most competent and energetic lawyer. This can lead to depression, stress, career problems, relationship issues, financial problems, or alcohol and substance abuse.

If you are having difficulty with depression, stress or an addiction problem, we can help. We are The Alabama Lawyer Assistance Program. We provide confidential intervention and referral services to the Alabama legal community. Difficult situations and problems are not bad they are opportunities to grow. You are NOT ALONE.
