
Phillip W. McCallum is a founding shareholder and senior partner with the Birmingham law firm of McCallum, Methvin & Terrell, PC. He attended Auburn University and was graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He earned his law degree from Cumberland School of Law and is admitted to practice law in Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma and West Virginia.
McCallum has served nine years on the Board of Bar Commissioners, the bar’s decision and policy-making body. Last year he was named a recipient of the prestigious President’s Award conferred in special recognition of meritorious service to the legal profession. He will succeed James R. Pratt, III, as president-elect at the close of this year’s annual meeting. In 2012-13 McCallum will serve as president.
