Stephanie received her Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in 2007. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Political Science from Birmingham-Southern College in 2004. She is an associate attorney in the Labor and Employment Practice Group.

During her years at Samford, Stephanie received the Cumberland School of Law Merit Scholarship, the Birmingham Bar Association Scholarship, and was on the Dean’s List. She was Student Bar Association president, an Abraham Caruther’s Fellow, a Haley Trial Competition finalist, a member of the Black Law Students Association, and a BAR/BRI Student Representative. While at Birmingham-Southern College, she was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Mortar Board, National Dean’s List, the David Vann Political Science Award winner, and a Gates Millennium Scholarship recipient. Stephanie is a member of the American Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, Magic City Bar Association, Birmingham Volunteer Lawyers program and the Judge James Edwin Horton Inn of Court. Her community involvement includes the Multiple Sclerosis Leadership Class of 2013, UAB Minority Health & Health Disparities Research Center, Holy Family Cristo Rey Junior Board, volunteering at the First Light Women’s Shelter, on the Empower Alabama Junior Board, a member of the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church, and the Girls’ Inc. Committee of 25. Stephanie represents management and advises clients in all aspects of the employment relationship, including drafting policies and employee handbooks.
