Congratulations on your admission to the Alabama State Bar. You have become a valued member of one of the most outstanding Bars in the country. I know you are proud of your accomplishment in gaining admission and we are certainly proud to have you as part of our family of lawyers. You will find you gain the greatest benefit from your membership by full participation. We have a number of committees and task forces, as well as sections. We also have a very active young lawyers section of the Bar. The association provides continuing legal education for its members, as well as networking and social opportunities at various seminars and our annual convention. You may also want to consider, at the appropriate time, applying to be part of our Leader’s Forum program which is a leadership training program for future leaders of the Bar. We are particularly proud of our members who have gone through this program and have become some of the most active, influential and consequential of our members.
