MALS Honors Montgomery Attorneys

MALS…The Association for Legal Professionals hosted Legal Professionals Week events this spring. At the awards luncheon April 2nd, Linda Lund, director of the Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program, was honored with the MALS Foundation Scales of Justice Award, which is presented to those who improve access to justice, improve the quality of legal services, promote the legal profession and support the community where they work and live. Lund's involvement in the "Wills for Heroes" program made her the perfect candidate for this award. Sam Crosby, immediate past president, assisted in presenting the award.

The members of MALS gave the "2009 Boss of the Year" Award to Adrian Johnson of Parnell & Crum PA. Johnson was unable to attend the awards luncheon, so MALS President Kristi Skipper and member Donna DeShields surprised him with his award at a Montgomery County Bar Association board meeting.
