“Untitled” Caryl P. Privett is a circuit judge in Jefferson County. After leaving the Northern District of Alabama’s U.S. Attorney’s Office, where she practiced for 22 years, and prior to becoming a judge, she practiced in the field of alternative dispute resolution for five years. She is a member of the Alabama Academy of Attorney Mediators. In addition, she has been “practicing” photography for nearly 30 years. According to Judge Privett, the cover photograph was taken a number of years ago on a misty and mystical morning.
