Special Oral Arguments Set for Tomorrow Morning

The Supreme Court of Alabama and the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals will convene in special session at Samford University's Wright Center tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 9 a.m. View the supreme court docket here; the court of criminal appeals docket can be found here.

Deadline Extended: Leadership Forum Applications Due Nov. 1

Applications for the 15th class of the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum can be found here. The deadline to submit applications has been extended to Nov. 1 by 5 p.m. We are thrilled to bring back this dynamic program that nurtures and develops leadership skills among a select group of qualified, promising lawyers!

Pro Hops Vino Event

Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham’s premier annual wine-and beer-tasting event is set for Nov. 7 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. It serves as both as a fundraiser and as recognition of supporters and volunteer attorneys. Find more details here.
