DEADLINE TODAY: Nominate a Fellow Attorney for ASB Annual Awards

The deadline to submit nominations for awards given at the Bar's Annual Meeting in July is fast approaching. Click here to view the awards, respective criteria and past winners.

The Board of Bar Commissioners of the Alabama State Bar will receive nominations for the William D.”Bill” Scruggs, Jr. Service to the Bar Award, J. Anthony “Tony” McLain Professionalism Award and Judicial Award of Merit through Mar. 15.

Attorney Volunteers Needed for Law Day 2021 | Apr. 30

The Alabama State Bar Lawyer in Every Classroom Committee will be providing lawyers to visit middle school classrooms (6th-8th grades) in-person or virtually Friday, Apr. 30, 2021, to teach students about this year's ABA Law Day theme, "Advancing the Rule of Law Now." Lawyers will be provided lesson plans and resources on the theme that they can use for the class. 

If you would like to teach a class in your area, click here and fill out the Attorney Volunteer Form by this Friday. (We currently have a need for more lawyers to sign-up from the following counties: Autauga, Chilton, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa.)
