SUMMARY:CLE: Leveraging Change Management Principles to Identify and Adopt Your Optimal Legal Tech Stack
DESCRIPTION:The change management process empowers organizations to remodel existing operating procedures\, embrace innovations\, and acquire new skills. This includes the adoption of legal technology and case management software. In fact\, law firms that adopt legal technology will outperform non-adopting practices in the coming years. With that in mind\, one question remains: How can law practices optimize their tech stack and manage the changes that accompany it? This program explains it all. \nRegister here.

SUMMARY:CLE: Top 10 Mistakes Lawyers Make On Fee Agreements (and Their Fixes)
DESCRIPTION:Register here.  \nEvery lawyer knows how to write a simple contact because they had contract law as a 1L. Right? Wrong! Here are the top ten common mistakes made on fee agreements and engagement letters\, followed by clear instructions on how to fix them. This will help you address: \n\nWhat to do with old templates with clauses you don’t remember the purpose of\nThe dangers of editing a contract piecemeal and how to clean it up\nHow to not just have an ethical\, ironclad contract\, but also attract clients and engage them in the legal process\nLearn what clauses should be in every agreement and how to write them well\n\nWHY ATTEND\nYour fee agreements and engagement letters are designed to establish a “meeting of the minds” between the lawyer and client — on both the scope of the work to be performed and the ground rules each party will follow. And since you had contract law as a 1L\, you must know how to draft a simple client representation agreement\, right? Wrong! This one-hour webcast explores the top ten commonly made mistakes on fee agreements and engagement letters\, and provides clear instructions on how to fix them. It will also review the clauses that should be in every fee agreement versus those that are used more selectively. If you want to improve your client-lawyer relationships and protect your firm from future fee disputes\, this program is not to be missed. \nWHAT YOU WILL LEARN \nWatch this webcast and learn: \n\nWhat to do with old templates with clauses you don’t remember the purpose of\nWhen editing a contract piecemeal can be dangerous\, and how to clean it up\nHow to not just have an ethical\, ironclad contract\, but also attract clients and engage them in the legal process\nWhat clauses should be in every agreement and how to write them well\nHow MRPC 1.4 (communication)\, 1.5 (fees)\, and 1.6 (confidentiality) apply to these agreements\n\nRegister for this program to better anticipate – and eliminate – possible sticking points between you and your clients. Small changes to your standard fee agreements just might make a critical difference! \n  \n
