This newly created task force shall examine and study the protections currently in place to protect sensitive information at the Alabama State Bar, and as appropriate, in the Office of General Counsel, to protect the bar and the Office of General Counsel against cyberattack and theft.
This task force, comprised of members with expertise in cybersecurity protection issues, shall provide a forum for the analysis of corporate, transactional and regulatory issues related to the internet and digital technologies as applied to the work of the Alabama State Bar and the Office of General Counsel.
This task force shall meet regularly, and provide timely written interim reports to the President and the Executive Committee, as the situation demands. The task force shall submit a comprehensive written report of its findings, recommendations, and method of implementation, no later than June 1, 2018.
The Committee shall meet at the call of Co-Chairs, or either of the Co-Chairs.
The Alabama State Bar, through its designated staff liaisons, will assist the task force in carrying out its purposes.
