The practice of law is changing rapidly, but are you changing with it? Lawyer University is an initiative of the Alabama State Bar that monitors the changing economic and technological trends affecting Alabama lawyers and helps them to obtain the practical skills needed to meet the challenges these trends are bringing with them. From marketing to technology, business planning to evaluating emerging (and disappearing) practice areas, Lawyer University has the information you need to not only survive, but thrive in a 21st century law practice.
Lawyer University courses are three (3) hours each (three MCLE credit hours, including one ethics hour) and the cost is $75 per course. They are presented by a mix of distinguished Alabama practitioners as well as lawyers and other speakers from out of state who are experts in their fields. Each course is limited to 75 to 100 attendees, depending on the capacity of the venue, but are taped for later use as on-demand continuing legal education.
