About the Office:
The 4th Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office covers Bibb, Dallas, Hale, Perry and Wilcox Counties. Attorneys employed with the Office are assigned to a single county but may be required to travel to any of the counties in the circuit from time to time.
Job Description:
The 4th Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office currently is seeking a competent and energetic lawyer to join our staff. The individual in this role primarily would be responsible for trial work at the Circuit Court level.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must possess a Juris Doctorate and be an active member of the Alabama State Bar.
- Applicants should have excellent writing and oral communication skills, robust trial advocacy skills, good character, a strong work ethic, proficient computer skills, as well as the ability to work well with others or independently.
- Applicants also must have spent a minimum of five years consistently practicing criminal law.
Preferred qualifications:
- At least two years of experience as a prosecutor.
- You must meet all qualification requirements upon the closing announcement.
