City Attorney

The City of Tuscaloosa is accepting applications for City Attorney. The City Attorney serve as chief legal counsel for the City of Tuscaloosa and manages and directs all legal operations for the city.

Juris Doctorate required; five years of managerial legal experience in municipal/constitutional law or a related field, preferably in a public sector environment. Must be a member in good standing with the Alabama State Bar Association. Must attend continuing education courses as mandated by state law. Supervisory experience required. Must possess and maintain a valid Alabama driver’s license
