Contract Case Manager - Mobile
Legal Services Alabama, Inc. (LSA) is a statewide non-profit law firm that pursues its mission to serve low-income people by providing civil legal aid and by promoting collaboration to find solutions to problems of poverty.
LSA seeks to contract for a Case Manager who will assist clients through funds awarded through the County of Mobile. This position is expected to last approximately one year. Under the Managing Attorney’s general supervision, the Case Manager will determine client eligibility, develop and provide a comprehensive plan, implementation and evaluation of clients who qualify for the CDBG Program.
The Case Manager will help with intake, return phone calls, conduct screening and file management. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail and deadlines, organizational skills, strong computer skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and take the initiative. The Case Manager will work with other team members to develop goals and timelines for the successful implementation of the project. The Case Manager will comply with LSA’s mission, values, and principles within the regional office, the organization, and the community.
Experience with non-profits and low-income population preferred. A one-year certificate from college program or technical school or commensurate experience.
