Legal Assistant
The Alabama Oil and Gas Board is seeking to hire a legal assistant. This person would deal with hearings of the Oil and Gas Board. This involves dealing with working with the attorney General Counsel for the Board. The position requires assisting the attorney prepare correspondence. The person will handle and file pleadings, exhibits, orders. Writing skills and familiarity with legal documents will be useful. The Alabama Oil and Gas Board is a regulatory agency of the state located in Jones Hall on the University of Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa.
In many ways this is a dream job. You will work on the campus of the University of Alabama and get benefits of discounts at the supply store and for certain tickets (no tickets or discounts for Bama football!) The pay will be very good.
