Project Manager

Legal Services Alabama, Inc. (LSA) is one of the largest statewide law firms in Alabama. As a non-profit law firm, our mission is to serve low-income people by providing civil legal aid and by promoting collaboration to find solutions to problems of poverty.

LSA seeks applications from qualified persons for a Project Manager.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Advocacy, the Project Manager is responsible for the daily operations and coordination of project goals of various grants and specifically the LAEP grant project. The Project Manager will oversee the mission of the LAEP Project to enhance and expand holistic legal services to older persons across the state. The Project Manager will coordinate intake procedures to identify prospective clients and streamline services provided to clients through the Elder Law Helpline. The Project Manager will oversee the development of educational materials and training for project partners and stakeholders. The Project Manager will oversee outreach for older persons at locations in underserved areas. The Project Manager will monitor LSA staff training and collaboration with community groups, businesses, and pro bono attorneys.

Qualifications:

  • JD is preferred or must have a bachelor’s degree in related field of business, logistics, or management. Significant project management experience required.
  • Experience with non-profits or low-income population preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated and organized. Ability to work timely and effectively, independently and as part of a team. Must be able to travel.
