Staff Attorney - Central Alabama Aging Consortium
Legal Services Alabama, Inc. (LSA), is one of the largest statewide law firms in Alabama. As a non-profit law firm, our mission is to serve low-income people by providing civil legal aid and by promoting collaboration to find solutions to problems of poverty. LSA seeks applications from qualified attorneys committed to supporting our mission.
This is a full-time position based in the Montgomery Regional Office. The attorney will assist in civil matters related to legal rights, benefits and entitlements through legal advice, counseling and representation to senior citizens in Autauga, Elmore, and Montgomery counties. The legal services provided will assist seniors in who are the most vulnerable and who are at risk of losing their autonomy, dignity, or independence.
Additionally, the attorney will provide community education for the older population.

- Admitted to practice in the State of Alabama.

- Sensitivity towards low-income and elderly population.
- Strong legal writing and communication skills. Bilingual a plus.
Salary: $50,750 plus based upon experience
