Now Available: Leadership Forum Applications

Applications for the 15th class of the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum are now available here. The deadline to submit applications is Oct. 21 by 5 p.m. We are thrilled to bring back this dynamic program that nurtures and develops leadership skills among a select group of qualified, promising lawyers!

Mindfulness in Law Society Lunch

The Alabama Chapter of the Mindfulness in Law Society will hold an informal lunch gathering on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 11:30 a.m. at Bettola Italian restaurant in Birmingham. This event will create an opportunity to interact with others interested in mindfulness practice and briefly discuss future plans for the chapter. Free Wellness and Well-Being Webinar Series

The Arizona State Bar and Supreme Court are offering a free three-part series on lawyer wellness/well-being and related challenges.  Part one focuses on substance use disorder, addiction and the opioid crisis; part two focuses on depression, anxiety and suicide; and part three ends the year on a high note with strategies for wellness/well-being. The first webcast is Oct. 21, and is open to all lawyers, paralegals and judges.  This program is not intended to offer CLE credit nor comply with the MCLE rules or regulation.
