Gov. Ivey issued an Emergency Order Friday, which allows for special provisions for healthcare providers, public meetings, and the transportation of emergency supplies.

As of today, there are 17 judicial circuits with mask Orders in place. We continue to update the Alabama State Bar's COVID-19 webpage. If your county's information is not listed, email us the information, and we will add it.

Please join the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama for a free Zoom CLE seminar on pro bono service opportunities for survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.  This program is being offered pursuant to the requirements of the Pro Bono Work to Empower and Represent Act of 2018, P.L. 115-237 (POWER Act).  The panel includes experts in the field of domestic violence and criminal, domestic, and creditor rights law.  The CLE will discuss the legal effects of domestic violence and identify opportunities for pro bono representation.

Mobile Bar Foundation to Host Tri the Gulf in October

Brought to you by the Mobile Bar Foundation, Tri the Gulf is a sprint triathlon on Dauphin Island, consisting of a 600 yard Gulf swim, 16.7-mile island + bridge bike, and 3.1-mile island run. The net proceeds from the event go to the Mobile Bar Foundation, which uses the funds to award grants to 501(c)(3) organizations that have a nexus to the legal community.
