Join us for “Transitioning to Medicare” for an informative program on what you need to consider when thinking through health care coverage for you and your family. Find out how to get onto a Medicare plan, what is offered, who is eligible and what is meant by Part A, Part B, Part C and Part D. Also, this session will provide insights on the types of health plans offered under Medicare and some practical tips on how to transition from your current plan.

Our presenter will be Don Lee, Consumer Marketing Representative for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. Describing himself as “The Medicare Guy,” he specializes in educating and assisting individuals with transitioning from either group or individual health plans to Medicare health plans through both individual meetings and group presentations. A retired military veteran (27 years), he is licensed in both Alabama and Tennessee in Life and Health and Property and Casualty insurance. Prior to coming to Blue Cross in March, 2018, Don worked as an independent agent with many other companies and so is well acquainted with the Medicare marketplace. He is a 2003 graduate of Athens State University (BBA) and a 2013 graduate of Columbia Southern University (MBA).
