Some of the features of the Dashboard are as follows:

- Consolidated Fee Invoice – Pay your license fee/membership dues, Client Security Fund assessment and section dues (if any) online in one place!
- MCLE Compliance Report – View detailed CLE transcripts for the current year and previous years.
- Request Certificate of Good Standing – Request free Certificate of Good Standing issued by the Alabama State Bar.
Alabama State Bar members must annually purchase either an Occupational License or a Special Membership.
Any ASB member in good standing may request a certificate of good standing. There is no charge for a certificate of good standing and no limit on the number of certificates that a member may request. A member may also request that a certificate of good standing be mailed to employers, bar associations, or other entities.
With this request, a certificate of good standing will be issued by the Alabama State Bar. If you are required to provide a certificate of good standing from a federal court, “court of highest jurisdiction,” or “highest court of the state,” you must direct your request to that specific court clerk’s office (334) 269-1515).
ASB Bar ID
Members of the Alabama State Bar are automatically assigned a state bar identification number (Bar ID) on their admission date to the bar. This number is used when reporting CLE credit, paying license fees and special membership dues, or accessing Casemaker. This number is printed on the wallet card attached to your license or special membership. Members may request their Bar ID by emailing email@example.com or by contacting the Attorney Licensing Office at (334) 269-1515.
AOC Attorney Code
Alabama State Bar members are also assigned a six-digit court identification code by the Administrative Office of Courts (AOC) that is to be used to track civil case filings, as well as other cases handled by each attorney. The code is the first three letters of the attorney’s last name followed by a sequential three-digit number. This number may be obtained by calling AOC at 1-866-954-9411.
