Lunch with the Chief Justice

Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice shall host a lunch for seven members of the bar who enroll, during Pro Bono Month, October, as a new members in one the the states Volunteer Lawyers Programs. Attorneys can enroll in the Volunteer Lawyers Program by following this link https://www.alabar.org/programs/volunteer-lawyers-program/enrollment/form/ Attendees will be selected at random. The luncheon will be held at the Heflin-Torbert Judicial Building in November.

Law Student Pro Bono Pledge

Alabama's five law schools have joined together to encourage their students to take the Pro Bono Pledge during Pro Bono Month 2021. Pro Bono Month Book Club

The Pro Bono Month Celebration Task Force is launching the inaugural Pro Bono Book Club. The book club discussions would take place via Zoom from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Tuesdays in October. This year's book selection is "A Knock at Midnight" by Brittany Barnett. It is a moving and fantastic read.
