The challenges presented by the COVD-19 pandemic only served to underscore why this fundraiser matters now more than ever. I am proud of the good work our members do in support of these efforts,” said President Methvin.

More than 1.8 million Alabamians need food assistance and one in four children in Alabama comes from families that experience food hardships. Alabama’s four regional food banks distributed more than 73.5 million pounds of food last year through their network of more than 1,600 partner agencies and pantries.
