The 7th Annual Alabama Legal Food Frenzy begins on April 4, 2022, and is open until April 15, 2022. The annual two-week fundraising competition, created in partnership with the Alabama Attorney General, the Alabama State Bar, and Feeding Alabama, is open to everyone in the legal community. Firms and organizations compete to see which law firm, legal organization, and corporate/in-house counsel can have the biggest impact on hunger. Everything you raise stays LOCAL and benefits the regional food bank that serves your community.

When you register and compete in the 2022 Legal Food Frenzy, your firm helps Feeding Alabama provide nearly half a million meals to children through the Summer Feeding Program.  And we know that many households are struggling now too.  Feeding Alabama partners with 1600 agencies around the state supporting their work to deliver food assistance directly to families.

Last year, the equivalent of more than 275,000 pounds of food was donated by lawyers to help feed food insecure Alabamians – specifically, the 385,000 children who do not have a reliable source of food during the summer months.

Remember for every $10.00 you donate, 20 meals will be provided to those in need. The lawyer, law firm or legal organization that raises the most funds, per employee, will receive the Attorney General’s Cup, with other honors to be awarded by category. Join together with Alabama’s lawyers and legal organizations to help collect even more food and funds this year!
