Immigration Paralegal

Join one of Alabama’s largest immigration law firms as a Bilingual Immigration Paralegal and help deliver high-quality, client-centered immigration services. This position will support attorneys handling removal-defense matters, including asylum, cancellation of removal, and other cases before immigration court.

With offices in the Birmingham and Huntsville areas, our firm is recognized for innovative legal solutions and its dedication to serving immigrant communities throughout Alabama and the surrounding region.

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a proactive and highly organized professional who communicates fluently in Spanish and English, works collaboratively, and is passionate about making a positive impact within the immigrant community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent professional experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with removal-defense matters, including asylum, cancellation of removal, and other immigration court cases
  • Prepare immigration applications, declarations, supporting documentation, and case materials
  • Communicate with clients regarding required documents, deadlines, hearings, interviews, and case status
  • Assist attorneys and clients in preparing for court hearings and immigration interviews
  • Organize client records, evidence, and supporting documentation
  • Maintain accurate case notes, deadlines, invoices, and updates in the firm’s case-management system
  • Monitor case progress and provide consistent follow-up
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and immigration-law training
  • Collaborate with attorneys and team members to provide responsive, high-quality client service

On-Site Office Hours:

Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
