Responsibilities

· Prosecute a wide variety of criminal offenses including felonies, misdemeanors, and violations

· Regularly conduct jury trials, bench trials, and other court hearings

· Evaluate, prepare, and present cases to the Montgomery County Grand Jury

· Work closely with law enforcement to investigate and prosecute criminal offenses

· Regularly conduct legal research

· Prepare, present, and argue motions, briefs, and other legal writings

Minimum Requirements

· Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree

· Must be a member in good standing of the Alabama State Bar

· Must successfully meet the requirements of a criminal history background check

· Trial experience preferred
