Judge John L. Carroll

Judge John L. Carroll was in the United States Marine Corps from June of 1965 to December of 1969. He was a bombardier/navigator in the A6A Intruder aircraft. From October of 1967 to October of 1968, he was with Marine All-Weather Attack Squadron 242 at the Danang Airbase in Vietnam and flew over 200 combat missions many of them over North Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on December 31, 1969 with the rank of Captain. This photo was taken on the Marine Corps birthday in 1969.
