Alabama State Bar Announces Members of Leadership Forum Class 20

The Alabama State Bar is pleased to announce the selection of Leadership Forum Class 20, a distinguished group of attorneys chosen for their commitment to leadership, service, and the advancement of the legal profession.

Leadership Forum is widely recognized as one of the Bar’s most impactful programs for developing leadership skills among Alabama’s lawyers. Entry into the program is highly competitive, with only 20–30 attorneys selected each year. Since its inception in 2005, Leadership Forum has graduated nearly 500 lawyers, equipping them to lead with integrity and serve their communities, the profession, and the justice system.

“The Alabama State Bar is committed to fostering a culture of service and leadership among our more than 19,000 members,” said Alabama State Bar President Fred Helmsing. “Leadership Forum reflects that commitment by preparing attorneys to lead, whether in their communities, in professional and civic organizations, or within the justice system itself.”

Participants in Leadership Forum Class 20 will engage in a series of educational sessions focused on ethics, professionalism, community leadership, and the responsibilities of lawyers as servant leaders. The program also provides opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and service across the state.
