LexSelect Named a New Alabama State Bar Member Benefit
Published on January 26, 2026
The Alabama State Bar is pleased to announce LexSelect as a new member benefit. LexSelect is a legal technology company built by lawyers to solve a problem every document-heavy practice knows too well: important information gets trapped inside messy PDFs and scanned documents, turning research, review, and drafting into hours of manual work.
LexSelect helps legal professionals move faster while staying confident in the record. Its end-user product, LexChat, lets legal professionals search across large sets of PDFs and scanned documents using natural language. Every result is citation-backed and linked directly to the exact source passage, allowing legal professionals to verify facts at the paragraph or line level before relying on them. From there, users can insert clean excerpts directly into their drafts with properly generated citations—without the formatting issues that come from manual copy-and-paste.
“LexSelect is a powerful and innovative tool designed to help attorneys quickly identify, evaluate, and access the most relevant information in their work product. This tool allows attorneys to work securely, efficiently, and with confidence. We are pleased to offer this practical, time-saving solution as a new member benefit for the Alabama State Bar,” said Jillian Jordan Evans, Practice Management Advisor for the Alabama State Bar.
In addition to LexChat, LexSelect offers an Enterprise Workflow Platform for firms and legal teams with high-volume document processes. The platform ingests PDFs, emails, and scanned documents, extracts structured data tailored to firm requirements, and links extracted values back to the source passage for validation. This supports workflows such as intake, document review, and metadata extraction, and can integrate into firm systems including practice management platforms, case management tools, document management systems, and eDiscovery platforms.
LexSelect was founded with a simple philosophy: AI should support legal work—not replace professional judgment. Legal professionals remain accountable for strategy, advocacy, and accuracy, and technology should make legal work more efficient without sacrificing trust.
Through this member benefit, Alabama State Bar members receive 20% off LexChat subscriptions.
