Responsibilities
• Prosecute a wide variety of criminal offenses including felonies, misdemeanors, and violations
• Regularly conduct jury trials, bench trials, and other court hearings
• Evaluate, prepare, and present cases to the Montgomery County Grand Jury
• Work closely with law enforcement to investigate and prosecute criminal offenses
• Regularly conduct legal research
•Prepare, present, and argue motions, briefs, and other legal writings

Job Type

Minimum Requirements
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
• Must be a member in good standing of the Alabama State Bar
• Must successfully meet the requirements of a criminal history background check
• Trial experience preferred
