Megan Hughes | Outreach & Content Manager

Megan joined the Communications Department at the Alabama State Bar as Outreach & Content Manager in February 2020. Our Communications Department handles all facets of public-facing assets (social channels, website, print, brand management, etc.), as well as internal communications to our members (every practicing attorney in the state of Alabama). Previous to her time at the Bar Megan spent most of her career in higher education public relations, but most recently served as Public Affairs & Development Director for the Montgomery-based nonprofit – the Family Sunshine Center. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public relations from Auburn University and the University of Southern Mississippi, respectively, and became accredited in Public Relations in 2015, earning the designation APR.
