Helping homeless clients obtain identification so they can work and helping with other legal needs is a priority of Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham.

Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham staffs a neighborhood-based help desk to assist low income people in the Woodlawn community with legal issues. This Help Desk is on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 8:30am – 11:00am at the Woodlawn Foundation, 5529 1st Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35212.
