Comments Sought on Proposed Rule 7 Series Revisions (Lawyer Advertising Rules)

The Disciplinary Rules and Enforcement Committee, led by Michael Upchurch and Harlan Prater, has developed recommended changes to Rules 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 of the Alabama Rules of Professional Conduct which outline lawyer advertising rules.
At the May 2020 Board of Bar Commissioners Meeting, Commissioners voted to submit the proposed changed to the full membership for a comment period before submitting it to the Supreme Court.
